Ur-Eiche is washed in oak and made by ladies. The cheese is made with the fresh, raw milk of the dairy cows left to graze naturally and remains in the cellars throughout the affinage period. This cheese tasted like toasted brioche and macadamia nuts with notes of barrique wood and pineapple near the rind.
